Publication Procedure
The accepted manuscript is checked by the Editorial Office to ensure that the manuscript is in conformity with the Guidelines to Authors. The office also ensures that all necessary paperwork is complete. Any problematic areas are addressed in consultation with the corresponding author. The manuscript is then forwarded to a professional copy editor to ensure that the final printed article is consistent with the Journal style
1. Agreement of Copyright
All authors must sign the Agreement of Copyright before the article can be published. The authors retain the copyright of the article. This agreement enables the NED University Journal of Research to protect the copyright of the authors; allowing JRAP to publish the article in hard and soft copy. Authors are free to share, copy and republish the work, provided they acknowledge its first publication in JRAP.
2. PDF Proofs
One set of page proofs in pdf format is sent by e-mail to the corresponding author. These proofs must be checked carefully for typesetting/editing. The corrections should be returned to the Editor within stipulated time. No changes in (or additions to) the accepted (and subsequently edited) manuscript will be allowed at this stage. Proofreading is solely the author's responsibility. Any queries should be answered in full. Please correct factual errors only, or errors introduced by typesetting. Please note that once your paper has been proofed it will be published exactly as it appears in the electronic file
3. Author Benefits
Publication in the Journal of Research in Architecture & Planning (JRAP) is free of charge. The corresponding author will be provided a hard copy of the Journal for each author. Alternatively, the author(s) will also receive an electronic version of their published article.
